Data the Windows app processes

With your permission, the app captures the microphone and the computer's audio. WAV files, the raw transcript, the processed transcript, hashes, manifests and project paths are stored locally. There is no automatic synchronization of meetings with a cloud.

What the website receives

vozacta.com does not receive your recordings or transcripts, except what you choose to save in your portal. As with any site and download hosted by third parties, Vercel and GitHub may log technical request data, such as IP address, date, user agent and requested resource, under their own policies and for the security and delivery of the service.

My space and optional activity

The free account is optional. It lets you save your favorite structure and link up to ten PCs with names you choose. Your email is used to verify access: Supabase hosts the account and preferences, and Resend delivers the access codes. These providers may keep technical delivery and security logs. Signing up does not upload conversations or turn on usage measurement.

Saving to my portal shows the selected excerpts and asks for your confirmation. It stores the title, the project name you chose, the approved excerpts with their times and the publication date. The audio, the full transcript and local paths are not uploaded. Notes are private to your account and keep every published version. You can organize those excerpts into an editable context, review its references and approve it before saving. This draft is organized without sending your notes to an external AI model. Unlinking a PC stops new publications; notes already saved stay in the portal. You can request deletion of the account and its notes from the contact below.

If you choose, a meeting's transcript and minutes are stored in your portal, private to your account. You can delete them anytime. The free plan keeps up to 10 meetings.

Activity sharing is optional, starts off, requires no account and does not change local recording

The new permission in My space helps improve installation, speed and the steps to a saved result and identify errors by version · It is not used for advertising or to evaluate conversations

If you accept, the app sends a random installation identifier, version, Windows 10 or 11, architecture, language and CPU or GPU mode · It also shares the last signal and known app state, daily counts of manual opens and Windows autostarts, started and completed captures, ready, opened or copied text, successful saves, error categories and duration ranges for startup, processing and saving

A signal is sent on opening and about every ten minutes while Vozacta is open · Days use UTC · Offline counters are kept for up to seven days to retry, without presenting old signals as current · The identifier is pseudonymous, not anonymous, and can be associated with your account if you link the installation

No text, audio, paths, project or computer names, hardware or voice fingerprints are sent to activity tables · IP addresses are not stored in those tables · Vercel receives requests and Supabase hosts the metrics, accessible only to the authorized administrator · As processors, these providers may handle them on servers outside Mexico · Providers may keep technical connection logs under their own policies

The previous permission only covers the version and days of use or requests to open a conversation · It does not authorize these new metrics and a new acceptance is requested

You can withdraw permission in My space · Local collection stops, pending counters are erased and deletion of server signals and history is requested · Offline withdrawal is retried when you open Vozacta again · A minimal revocation marker is retained to reject delayed messages

Daily counters are kept for ninety days and the last signal for up to thirty days, with daily cleanup · Unlinking an account and withdrawing activity are independent controls · You can keep using Vozacta if you decline or withdraw this permission

The site counts exits to Microsoft Store and direct downloads by hour and app version, without identifying the visitor

Creating an account does not start subscriptions or charges

In My account you can optionally say where you heard about Vozacta. Saving the answer lets us relate that source to whether you have saved approved notes or contexts and their dates, including those before your answer. The administrator sees totals per source, without the content of the notes. Searches, referral links and browser tracking identifiers are not stored. This permission is independent from the Windows one and starts off. Choose "Don't share" and save to delete the answer and leave that measurement; your notes and your account remain. The answer is kept until you withdraw it or the account is deleted.

Installation and updates

The Windows installer needs internet on first installation to obtain verified dependencies from their official sources, such as GitHub, Python.org and Hugging Face. Those providers receive the normal technical data of a download. Vozacta checks size and SHA-256 before installing. Since beta11, this version periodically checks the public release channel and shows Update when an improvement exists. The check does not send installation identifiers or content; the server may keep technical connection logs. Downloading and installing the update require your action.

From Microsoft Store
The CPU edition includes the components and models needed to record and transcribe locally, without downloading them on first launch. Microsoft Store manages the download of the package and its updates according to your settings, with a connection
Meetings are still processed on your computer: Vozacta does not send audio or transcripts to Microsoft to install or update.

Microsoft may process technical and account data related to the use of its store under its Privacy Statement and your privacy choices.

Project folders and AI tools

If you choose a local folder, Vozacta can create context copies in that location. It does not send those files to Codex, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or any other provider on its own. Any future integration or cloud feature must explain the destination and ask for explicit acceptance.

Open source components

The Microsoft Store edition includes notices and licenses for its components in the app's ThirdPartyNotices folder. You can see the corresponding sources and their integrity check. This source archive is not an installer.

Control and deletion

You control the local files and can keep, move or delete them from Windows. Uninstalling the app should not be taken as an instruction to delete your meetings. Back up important data before deleting it.

Consent to record

You must inform people and obtain the appropriate consent before recording. Rules vary by country, state, company, school and type of conversation; Vozacta does not replace legal advice or internal policies.
